My 7 year old loves this. Dick King-Smith is truly a wonderful story teller. The plot line has some great twists and turns without making it too complicated. A story that even the adults enjoy!

A great listen.

This was my all time favourite book as a child. I’d read a couple of chapters in a book that was a collection of snippets from other books, though it didn’t have the complete story. My Nana searched low and high for it, eventually submitting a search for it in the local library, after some months, another library got one in and sent it down to ours which she then collected it for me, I’d of been maybe 12 at the time. I remember I ready it 9 times in a row, even putting down Harry Potter for a short time whilst I did so. I still have that book now nearly 20 years later, and it still takes me back to happy times.

Still a beautiful book
